Organisational and strategic development

Caterina has led a number of clients through organisational and strategic development processes.

Most recently this has included leading a feasibility study for both Buckinghamshire Culture, who are in the first stages of developing a new county-wide festival, and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council on the future of Light Up Poole; a benchmarking exercise to support the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo with organisational development around working with voluntary arts and volunteers; and initiating the development of a cultural strategy for the FIFA World Cup, Qatar 2022.

City of London

Between 2016 – 2019 Caterina delivered various projects for the City of London. Firstly, following the demise of the City of London Festival, she led a consultation to shape a new way forward for the City, recommending the development of a new outdoor arts programme, leading and delivering its first iteration, Londinium, in 2017. She delivered an interim evaluation of the City’s cultural strategy in 2018 and worked with City partners throughout 2019 to create an ongoing longer-term evaluation framework.

Milton Keynes Council

Working for Milton Keynes Council, Caterina co-wrote their bid to become City of Culture 2023 - Different by Design. She designed the artistic and outreach programmes which included over 40 projects and had the support of national organisations such as: RIBA, National Poetry Society, Open University, and the Design Council.
